Product Description
Ethanol produced from sugarcane and extracts has become a popular renewable biofuel. This development has provided a significant boost for sugarcane farmers in agriculture-dominated countries like India, Brazil & Africa Continent. Excess sugar production is diverted to ethanol production. This helps to stabilize sugarcane prices and prevent losses due to fluctuations in Crop Production. Additionally, burning ethanol produces a smokeless, blue-colored flame, which reduces smoke pollution. More production of ethanol results in use dependency on crude oil & increase the foreign exchange reserve in the country.Features:
Cane/ Molasses based distillery is a type of ethanol production process that utilizes Molasses, a by-product of sugar production, as feedstock.
The process involves fermentation, distillation and dehydration to produce high-grade ethanol.
Fermentation converts sugars from molasses into Alcohol, typically yielding an ethanol content of 10-15% v/v fermented wash.
Distillation and dehydration processes further purify and concentrate the ethanol to achieve final purity of 99.8 % v/v, (Min)
UFIPL offers Production capacity from 5 to 1000 KLPD. Plant can be customized based on client requirements.
